Pivete – 2003

There it its. Inácio between satire and irony, trying to write down his life, even though very young – and the life of those he met. It is always good to see a young man asking questions through poetry – his time to be/to see, hope and despair. I believe that many poems are being born (being bled) thanks to the times of silence (torture) that the youth survived. It is worth to know what happens at the life of the young poets, that risk to prophecy in these times without present. Go on, my dear friend, because, as Drummond said:

“if you danced
the Vienna waltz”
There’s no dance, there’s no waltz, there’s no Vienna. Luís Sebastião
Poeta

Obs: initially it was published as O poder da criação, but after reprinted as Pivete. I applied to a poetry contest and got classified with the poem Pivete. I had a good number of poems written, so I gathered everything and published in one book, naming it based upon the most know poem.
